all we need is an island.

went to the thrift store today and hit the jackpot. These were my favorites for the day. Those amazing gladiator sandals? They're Michael Kors. I will ride them til' they die this summer. Also found a pink vintage floral betsey johnson dress that's for sale on etsy. Go check us out!

watch and learn.

this charming man

So tuckered out. I don't know why my song posts aren't working. meh. I started at American Apparel today-kind of feel like a sell out despite the hottest red spandex pants ever. For free. My roommates said I shouldn't go out alone in them for fear of being raped, however I don't think I'll need to worry about that.

Because today I met a boy that if I sat on his shoulders I could see the whole world from end to end. Just what I've always wanted.

stand on a pedestal and dance.

the creme de la creme

I think I live for the sound of music. Not the movie, but the literal context of the sounds of the music. hell, the musique. When I hear a favorite song, I've got a walking music video in my head-churning out one bizarre clip after another. Yet it fills my shoes will dr. scholls, and my heart with fervor and dreams. a stone cold keeper. God I'm lame.

Sorry there won't be enough grunt in these initial posts for all you bloggers extraordinare.

Kennedy and I were on the train the other day and came in contact with this royal blue pitbull. And I do mean royal. It really made me want one...so I could parade around like the little white girl thug muffin I truly am, with my meanacing offpigment hound named mr. squeeze.

bangarang. goodnight internet space cadets.

turn and face the strain

I just moved to Boston. My favorite city in the states-and making my heart grow each day. Bigger than scrooge, bigger than the grinch. Yet I fear success to the magnitude of a deaf mute fearing the day he can see and hear again. A blurred vision with a sudden POP of lights, city, country, food, people, war, hunger, starvation, politics, happiness, flowers and fields. This is success to me. A mess of people glaring at you with your slimy scales and goggly eyes in a tiny fish bowl riddled with dirty water. I used to be a big fish in a small pond. But maybe a big fish in a big pond is too much space. Time is relative to the observer, and my time in the pond is just begining. Ribbit ribbit croak.

I've signed on to the bloggers union. I wonder if we'd ever have to unionize over mistreatment and sappy blog entry page cuts. Let's hope for such a revolution.
